多级离心泵机械密封故障分析及改进措施

摘要:机械密封是离心泵的核心部件,在冲洗方式、密封副材料选择等方面都有严格的要求,其中任何一个环节出现问题都会影响到其正常使用。通过对多级离心泵机械密封的泄漏与损坏情况进行介绍,分析了一方面由于机械密封冲洗液设计温度较高,导致冲洗液易汽化产生热量导致机械密封损坏,另一方面由于机械密封密封副材料选择了较软的碳石墨材质,导致运行时导热性能差导致机械密封泄漏。通过对机械密封冲洗方式进行了改进,降低了冲洗密封液的温度,通过对密封副材料进行更换,更换为导热性能较好的SiC陶瓷。改进后的机械密封运行情况良好,保障了化工系统的连续稳定运行。

Failure Analysis and Improvement Measures of Mechanical Seals for Multistage Centrifugal Pumps

Abstract:Mechanical seal is the core part of centrifugal pump, in the flushing mode, sealing material selection and other aspects have strict requirements, any one of the problems will affect its normal use. In this paper, through the leakage and damage of mechanical seal of multi-stage centrifugal pump, the paper analyzes the damage of the mechanical seal caused by the heat of the flushing liquid due to the high temperature of the mechanical seal rinse solution, and the mechanical seal Sealed sub-materials selected a softer carbon graphite material, resulting in poor thermal conductivity during operation and other reasons leading to mechanical seal leakage. Through the improvement of the mechanical seal flushing method, the temperature of the flushing sealing liquid is reduced. By changing the sealing material to the SiC ceramic with good thermal conductivity, the improved mechanical seal is running well and the continuous and stable operation of the chemical system is ensured.
